ILLIT (아일릿) is a South Korean girl group formed by BELIFT LAB, a subsidiary of HYBE. Created through the 2023 JTBC survival competition show R U Next?, the group debuted in March 2024 and rapidly rose to prominence as one of the leading global acts of K-pop's fifth generation.

The Concept Behind the Name

The name "ILLIT" is a combination of the English phrase "I will" and the pronoun "it." This represents a group with the independent will and ambition to become whatever they want to be. It heavily emphasizes their limitless potential, authentic confidence, and quirky "teenage girl" identity.

The Members

The group consists of five multi-talented members from South Korea and Japan:

Yunah (윤아): The oldest member, known for her highly charismatic stage presence, sharp dancing skills, and striking visuals.
